Your First Visit to an Osteopath

Once your appointment is booked with us, you should receive a booking confirmation which will give you all our contact details, including the clinics address and the date and time of your appointment.

Should you no longer be able to keep your appointment, we ask you give us a minimum of 24hours notice. Appointments cancelled in less than 24hours will be charged a 100% appointment fee.

Parking

There is pay & display street parking available on Salisbury Road and the surrounding streets. The parking bays can get busy during the day so please allow yourself enough time to park and get to your appointment on time.

The main bus stops are on Western Road – around Palmeira Square, which are about a 5 minute walk from the clinic.

What to wear

It is usual for an osteopath to ask you to remove some clothing during your appointment.┬áIt helps us with our treatment if we can see the area that is a problem. We are able to work around some clothing and if this is the case then we ask you wear something comfortable and stretchy – e.g. loose fitting sports clothing.

Medications

The osteopath will always ask if you take any medications. If you are unsure about the names of the medications, please make a note of them before you come to the clinic.
